Kids Church
At Kids Church, we want to see the lives of our children transformed through knowing, trusting, and treasuring Jesus to the glory of God.
We do this by introducing them to Jesus through God's word in the context of loving relationships and inviting them to follow Jesus as the Lord and Saviour of their lives.
Who is Kids Church for?
Where will CEC Kids be held?
Junior Kids will be in The Jindalee Hotel. Our group leaders will lead you to the group room for drop off, and please collect your kids when the service ends.
Primary Kids will head over to the Girl Guides Hall, just across from the Jindalee Hotel. Our team will ensure a safe return once Kids Church wraps up, so there's no need for you to pick them up.
What will the kids do?
Songs
We sing fun and active songs that help children to remember and respond to God’s Word.
Games
A fun activity to get the kids moving and introduce the Bible lesson.
Bible Lesson
Bible lessons are conducted in year groups so that children can explore and engage with God’s Word in a way that’s clear and meaningful for them.
Memory verse
Children are taught to memorise God’s Word in a fun and active way.
Chat time
An opportunity for the kids to apply God’s Word personally and explore its relevance for their lives.
Prayer
Children are encouraged to speak to God in response to what they have heard in his Word.

What do parents need to do?
PRAY!
Pray for the kids, that their hearts will be open and receptive to God’s word and the Gospel. Pray for our group leaders, that they will be clear and faithful in teaching God’s Word.
PREPARE!
Prepare the kids by giving them a hearty breakfast to keep them energized throughout the morning. Remind them to visit the restroom before service starts. Don’t forget to bring their bags, bottles and writing materials each week.

In partnership with our team, we kindly ask that you share with the group leaders, any medical concerns (e.g. allergies) or extra
details that might help your child feel comfortable and settle into Kids Church with ease.
